Andrea Calhoun

Andrea is counsel at Fusion Law. She has extensive experience in complex business disputes in state and federal court, particularly in matters involving energy, finance, and technology.
Before joining Fusion, Andrea practiced complex commercial litigation for four years at an international law firm renowned for its litigation practice. There she secured significant victories for clients, including complete summary judgment in a multi-million-dollar energy dispute and favorable settlements in high-value contract and tort cases.
Andrea was selected as a 2025 Texas Rising Star, an honor reserved for the top 2.5% of up-and-coming attorneys in the state.
Her practice is informed by her clerkships for the Hon. Carlos T. Bea of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Hon. Barbara M. G. Lynn of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Andrea graduated Order of the Coif from UCLA School of Law, where she served as an editor of the UCLA Law Review and as vice chairwoman of the Federalist Society. She also graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in business journalism.
Prior to her legal career, Andrea produced television news for four years in New York at two of the leading international financial news networks, an experience that sharpened her ability to distill complex corporate issues into clear, compelling narratives.
