Our team members (partners and contracted of counsel) have led consumer protection enforcement actions against Fortune 50 companies, resulting in settlements totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.  We have led state and federal enforcement divisions.  We have successfully argued at every level of federal and state courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.  And we have clerked at the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits; U.S. District Court; and state appellate courts.

Our team also brings extensive experience with state, federal, and global regulators on policies to promote innovation in financial services. We have designed and implemented cutting-edge regulatory policies.  Our team members designed and stood up the first state and federal FinTech sandboxes in the U.S., and helped establish federal regulatory policy on cryptocurrency. 

We have experience working at high-levels in federal agencies, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Financial Stability Oversight Council, and Ginnie Mae.  At the state level, we have worked for Governors and in State Attorney General’s Offices and State Solicitor General’s Offices.
