Matthew du Mee

Matthew is a partner at Fusion Law. He has extensive experience with government investigations and complex litigation.
From 2017-2022, he served as the Consumer Litigation Unit Chief in the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, where he led a team of a dozen attorneys in consumer fraud investigations and lawsuits that led to record-breaking recoveries totaling hundreds of millions of dollars for consumers and the State. Matthew also handled appeals and special action proceedings, and first-chaired a six-week consumer fraud trial that resulted in a multi-million dollar judgment in favor of the State.
Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office in 2015, Matthew clerked for the Hon. Andrew Hurwitz on the Arizona Supreme Court and worked on complex commercial litigation for a large, international law firm. He graduated with honors from Harvard Law School, where he served as a supervising editor on the Harvard Law Review, won the Williston Negotiation Competition, and received a top speaker award at the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot Court Tournament in Vienna, Austria.
