J.D., University of Texas at Austin
B.A., Harding University
Licensed to practice in Texas, Arkansas, and Virginia

Vincent is a partner at Fusion Law. He has wide-ranging complex-litigation experience, including oral arguments before federal courts of appeals and state supreme courts. He also has a deep understanding of state government, both from his tenure in a state solicitor general’s office and from his work with a major international nonprofit.

Before joining Fusion Law, Vincent was senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom. While there, Vincent designed certain aspects of ADF’s litigation strategy and led litigation teams in appellate and trial courts. He also co-led ADF’s efforts to collaborate with its allies in state government.

Prior to that, Vincent served the State of Arkansas as deputy solicitor general. There he represented Arkansas at all levels of the state and federal judiciary in litigation about the State’s highest-profile topics. Among other matters, in a lawsuit brought under the U.S. Supreme Court’s original jurisdiction, he led summary-judgment proceedings for a 30-State coalition challenging Delaware’s unclaimed-property practices, which resulted in a coalition victory in Delaware v. Pennsylvania, 598 U.S. 115 (2023). Earlier in his career, he was an appellate-litigation associate at a major international law firm, where his work included securities, shareholder, environmental, and antitrust litigation.

Immediately after law school, Vincent clerked for then-Chief Judge Ed Carnes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He earned his J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a chancellor, a distinction given to the students with the sixteen highest GPAs in each graduating class, and an associate editor on the Texas Law Review.
