Kate Sawyer

Kate Sawyer is counsel at Fusion Law. She has experience in appellate litigation, government investigations, and legislation.
Prior to joining Fusion Law, Kate was deputy general counsel for the Arizona State Senate, where she advised on legislation, litigation, and a variety of other matters.
Kate also served as an assistant solicitor general in the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, briefing cases in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Courts of Appeals, U.S. district courts, and Arizona state courts. Many of these cases dealt with the constitutionality of enacted state statutes.
Prior to joining the Solicitor General’s Office, Kate also served as a judicial law clerk for the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.
Kate is a magna cum laude graduate of Regent University School of Law, where she served as an editor on the Regent Law Review.
